DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Oral .
Adults and children over 12 years , take 2 tablets every 12 hours for 6 days.

RECOMMENDED STORAGE : Store at room temperature to no more than 30 ° C and dry temperature.

Binds 65 % bound to plasma proteins and hardly metabolized . 90% of the administered dose is eliminated amantadine practically exclusively with urine by glomerular filtration and tubular secretion without any metabolism . It is metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine mainly as glucuronide and sulfate conjugates , less than 5% is excreted unchanged . The elimination half life is 2 to 4 hours. Binding to plasma proteins is variable, from 20% to 50 % may be bound at the concentrations encountered during acute intoxication. Acetaminophen produces analgesia and antipyretic . Chlorpheniramine maleate an H1 antagonist is slowly absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract , reaching peak plasma concentrations within 2 to 3 hours, while the maximum therapeutic effect at 5 hours , having a duration of effect of 4 to 6 hours. It has an elimination half-life of 21-27 hours is widely distributed in tissues and body fluids by binding to plasma proteins by 72 %. It is metabolized first in the gastric mucosa presenting a first pass metabolism in the liver and is widely distributed in the body, including the central nervous system. Chlorphenamine excreted through urine and urine pH dependent flow rate . Its absorption is faster in fasting . Using chlorpheniramine orally in adults is 3-4 mg every 4 to 6 hours (maximum 24 mg daily) , while in children under 1 year is not recommended.

INDICATIONS: Influenza antiviral action , antihistamine, decongestant , analgesic and antipyretic indicated as an adjunct against seasonal influenza. XL-3 ® VR acts against the influenza virus causing the group A, including its subtypes and is an assistant to relieve some discomfort of the common cold such as body aches , congestion, runny nose , sneezing , pain and fever .
VR -3 ® XL helps reduce flu symptoms , reduce complications and reduces disease .
 
DRUG INTERACTIONS : Should not be taken concurrently with nervous system depressant drugs , alcohol , anticholinergics , antiepileptics, metoclopramide and propantheline . Acetaminophen may enhance the effect of oral anticoagulants. Should not be given concomitantly with monoamine oxidase ( MAO). Should not be administered with other medications containing chlorpheniramine , since power amantadine side effects.
