THIS IS A BRAND MEDICATION
THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: VERMOX PLUS® is indicated for the treatment of intestinal parasitosis caused by the presence of acute or chronic intestinal amebiasis caused by Enterobius vermicularis (pinworm), Ascaris lumbricoides (roundworms), Trichuris trichiura (whipworm), Necator americanus, Ancylostoma duodenale (hookworms), Strongyloides stercoralis, Taenia solium, Taenia saginata (tapeworm) and Hymenolepis nana.
In patients living in endemic areas, regular treatment with VERMOX PLUS ® (3-4 times a year) can significantly reduce re-infection with a high level of clinical significance.
Amebicide, intraluminal parasite.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: VERMOX PLUS ® is contraindicated in persons who have shown hypersensitivity to mebendazole or Quinfamide. Treatment of extraintestinal forms of amebiasis and other parasites.
CAUTIONS: It is recommended that a single dose of treatment and avoid alcohol intake during the day of treatment.
VERMOX PLUS ® does not alter the mental state or ability to drive.
RESTRICTIONS OF USE DURING PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING: Do not use during pregnancy and lactation.
There are no data on the combined use of mebendazole and Quinfamide during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Although the absorption of both products is low, when prescribing VERMOX PLUS ® during pregnancy or lactation, should be weighed against the expected therapeutic benefits, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Oral.
The dose is to take both tablets one time VERMOX PLUS ®, the dose is the same for both adults and children over 10 years.
VERMOX PLUS ® requires no special diet or laxatives.
