Because our staff is so busy processing orders and answering over 140,000 new emails received daily consequently, we were forced to make some tough decisions.

We are no longer taking phone calls or adding shipping information into the web servers.  Please do not send us an email asking if your order has shipped, or for a tracking number as our English Section is no longer connected to the Shipping Department as of August 22, 2023, by orders of our Board of Directors.  We answer all emails within 48 hours and that will never stop.

We process all Express Orders first then Mex Post Orders. Each order is time stamped. All Mex Post orders are shipped within 92 hours of receipt of funds. If we are out of medicine at the time of shipping and more than 10 days have past where the medicine is still out of stock then we will issue you a CREDIT on ACCOUNT that can be used at any time. We do not provide tracking numbers unless your order is more than 40 days late beyond all custom delays.

They further require documentation in English and an invoice of all medicines sold for customs.  For these countries, Medicina Mexico is now delivering your medicines to Dr. Isaac Reyes, MD (Ced. Estatal 1537-02/05) along with the required documentation including documentation on each medication sold in English is from Wolters Kluwer.   Dr. Reyes upon receipt of your medication will issue a prescription and provide for shipping pursuant to your order.  If for any reason, Dr. Reyes fails to issue a prescription for a specific medication, then you will receive a Credit on Account

Flonorm 100 MG SUSP 60 ML, Rifaximin

THIS IS A BRAND MEDICATION

Rifaximin is a bactericidal antibiotic which acts on gastrointestinal microorganisms in selected gastrointestinal infections characterized by resistance to other antimicrobial treatments.
Rifaximin, is indicated in bacterial enterocolitis resistant symptomatic treatment in patients at risk for associated diseases, immuno-depression or older. Pseudomembranous colitis in patients resistant to vancomycin. Acute diverticulitis. It is also indicated as pre and postoperative prophylaxis in surgery of the gastrointestinal tract and as adjunctive therapy in hyperammonemia (excessive increase in the concentration of ammonia in the blood).
Medizzine recommends that you consult your physician if you are unsure why you have been prescribed rifaximin.
Components of commercial presentations
For coated tablet: rifaximin, 200 mg; Sodium carboxymethyl starch; Glycerol palmitostearate; Precipitated silica; talc; Microgranular cellulose; hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; Titanium dioxide E171; Edetate disodium; Propylene glycol, red iron oxide E172.

â–² Important Information
During prolonged high doses, or in cases of intestinal injury treatment, a slight absorption of the drug may occur, which could cause a reddish discoloration of the urine, a fact that no significant importance.
Before taking the drug â–²
No use rifaximin
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of the medicinal product is prescribed for you. If you think you may be allergic, ask your doctor.
Allergy symptoms may include
- Crisis of asthma, with respiratory distress, breathing with audible wheezing or rapid breathing.
- More or less sudden swelling of face, lips, tongue or elsewhere in the body. It is especially critical if affects the vocal cords.
- Urticaria, itching, rash
- Anaphylactic Shock (loss of consciousness, paleness, sweating, etc).
You should not take this medicine
If you have intestinal obstruction, even partial, and intestinal ulcerative lesions.
If this situation applies to you or you are not sure, talk to your doctor before taking this medicine.
Special care when taking rifaximin
Since rifaximin is virtually no absorption, no special precautions are necessary for oral administration.
Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medicine only for you. Never give it to someone else.
If in doubt, consult your doctor.
Taking other medicines
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including herbal products obtained without a prescription.
Also because of negligible absorption, it is unlikely any general drug interaction with other medications.
Special physiological situations
Pregnancy and lactation
Always consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Before starting treatment with rifaximin need to tell the doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Although it has not proved possible action on the fetus, and considering that many drugs are excreted in human milk, its administration is recommended with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
Children and the elderly:
Although Rifaximin is a nonabsorbable antibiotic, use with caution and under direct control of the physician in these particular cases is recommended.
Driving and using machines
No alterations have been described drivability or operating machinery while on treatment with rifaximin.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medicine.
Directions for use of rifaximin
Follow instructions exactly rifaximin administration provided by your doctor. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have questions. Follow the instructions in preference to those given in this website, which may differ. Ask your doctor to explain any question you do not understand, contained in the instruction booklet that comes with the medicine.
Rifaximin is administered orally. The recommended adult dose is half of 200 mg (1 tablet or 10 ml suspension) every 6 hours until remission of symptoms. This dose may be increased to 400 mg every 8 hours in adults, in cases which, by its complication may require increased doses and always under a physician. We suggest no more than 7 days of treatment.
If you think the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor.
If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Please note while taking rifaximin â–²
If you become pregnant, contact your doctor immediately.
If a doctor prescribes another medication, let them know you received rifaximin.
Check with your doctor regularly the course of the condition giving rise to the administration of rifaximin. Maybe there is some reason that has prevented him from properly receiving the indicated doses and induce your doctor to erroneous conclusions about treatment.
Do not restart on its own initiative rifaximin treatment without first talking to your doctor, or recommend their decision to another person, even if have the same symptoms you have. Nor is it advisable to interrupt or reduce the dose without considering the opinion of your doctor.
If you feel unwell during treatment with rifaximin immediately consult your doctor.
If you use more medicine than you should
In case of overdose or accidental ingestion contact a poison control center in your country.
The course of treatment in these cases consist of gastric lavage and then administer symptomatic treatment.
If you forget to take the medicine
I take your dose as soon as you remember. Continue your treatment intervals between shots prescribed by your doctor. Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses.

Side effects of rifaximin â–²
Like all medicines, rifaximin may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Rarely been reported in isolated cases, allergic reactions per individual hypersensitivity to rifaximin and manifest as skin reaction as itching and redness of the skin. In some case has also described the occurrence of nausea after administration of the drug, which disappear spontaneously without discontinuation.
